Welcome to To the Point!
This is our place to transform inclusive practices--together! We will discuss what is happening to increase our awareness and extend our action steps. Each month’s post will be theme-based around your questions.
The compass that is imaged above actually sits on my desk. It was given to me as a gift a long time ago. As I cherish it each day, I am reminded of many things:
1. Be concise, precise, authentic, and flexible.
2. Always stay true to doing what I believe is right for learners in inclusive classrooms.
The compass is the focus for this blog column in a few ways that honor our busy schedules. We must:
get to the point!
say it like it is! Disrupt the status quo. Yes!
share, listen, and illuminate what is most important for learners in your classrooms.
The overarching question to drive our conversations is:
What can we do to co-create meaningful inclusive learning experiences with all learners in our classrooms?
How will I get these questions, you ask? Through our conversations, of course!
